Departing from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, you'll drive down the escarpment via the floor of the scenic Great Rift Valley. You'll arrive at our luxury tented camp near the Masai Mara in time for lunch. Then, you'll take your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of East Africa’s top safari destinations.

The Mara reserve incorporates 1510 km² of incredible, wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal. It is a quintessential African savannah country, with a mass of amazing wildlife.

Returning from our first foray into the Masai Mara, you'll have dinner at camp and relax under the stars, falling asleep to the sounds of the bush.
