Depart Kampala at sunrise for Kibale via Fort Portal. Optional stop at the Equator for photos and coffee break. Lunch in Fort Portal town. Scenic drive through tea plantations and crater lakes to the park
Arrive at your lodge and check-in for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to bwindi impenetrable np

Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to bwindi impenetrable np

Wake up Early Morning and have Breakfast. Head to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for briefing and begin chimpanzee trekking. Encounter chimps in their natural habitat, along with red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and more. The park is home to an impressive 500 chimpanzees. Before heading into the forest, we are briefed on the trekking procedures. While trekking in the jungle, the guide tells you more about the chimpanzees, other primates, and local flora and fauna, making for an interesting adventure. Return to lodge for freshening up and check-out. Begin drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Arrive in Bwindi, check in at lodge dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Gorilla Trekking Experience

After breakfast, head to the Gorilla Trekking Briefing Center Enjoy an orientation session from the rangers before setting off on your gorilla trekking adventure. Trek through the dense forest in search of one of the mountain gorilla families. This may take anywhere from 3 to 8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the briefing point where you will be awarded a trekking certificate from Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Return to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure to relax and reflect on your experience. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
