This is the homeland of the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. You’ll join them on a morning hunt, experiencing their incredible tracking skills and ancient lifestyle. The Hadzabe live entirely off the land, hunting small game with bows and arrows and foraging for roots, berries, and honey. You’ll also meet the Datoga people, skilled blacksmiths who melt scrap metal to forge arrowheads and tools using traditional methods. This enriching experience offers insight into cultures unchanged for centuries. Enjoy lunch by the lake before returning to Karatu.
