Depart from Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Explore the park’s beautiful landscapes, dotted with ancient baobab trees and home to one of the largest elephant populations in Tanzania. Other wildlife highlights include lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo. Bird lovers will enjoy spotting some of the 400+ species found here. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive until late afternoon, then drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Karatu – Lake Manyara – Arusha

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but diverse park offering a unique safari experience. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions, elephants, large troops of baboons, and stunning birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans around the soda lake. Drive through its varied landscapes of forests, savannas, and wetlands while enjoying wildlife encounters. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive before returning to Arusha, where the safari concludes in the late afternoon.
