After breakfast, head to the remote beauty of Lake Natron. Travel through unspoiled Maasai land, passing bomas and mountains in a vast, other-worldly landscape, with a chance to stop at a hot spring. From June to November, marvel at nearly two million flamingos gathered along the shimmering shores. Join a Maasai guide for a Flamingo Walk up to Lake Natron. Lake Natron in the Rift Valley is home to the endangered lesser flamingos, who breed in its alkaline waters, creating stunning pink landscapes. While inhospitable to most other creatures, the lake’s flats host adapted bird species. Overnight at Africa Safari Lake Natron, where you can enjoy views of Mount Ol Doinyo Lengai.

This morning, set out on an adventurous hike to the Ngare Sero waterfalls with a Maasai guide, who will share insights into their traditions as you pass nearby villages. After soaking in the beauty of the falls, enjoy lunch before heading to Mto wa Mbu, a lively town at the entrance of Lake Manyara. You’ll spend the night at Africa Safari Manyara Escarpment, where you can unwind with a swim, enjoy the serene setting and prepare for the next day’s safari adventure.

Day 8

Game Drive Lake Manyara National Park
Today, journey to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its stunning views, waterfalls, clear streams and hot springs. On a full-day game drive, discover elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffaloes and over 400 bird species. With luck, you may even spot the park’s legendary tree-climbing lions. After the game drive, our transfer will drive back to Arusha or Arusha Airport in the afternoon where you will arrive before dinner. An additional transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport can be arranged for an extra cost.
