Depart early from Arusha and drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Rift Valley and Maasai villages. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin your first game drive across its vast plains, where lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and elephants roam freely. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration herds in action. In the evening, drive to your lodge or tented camp in the Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, maximizing your chances of incredible wildlife encounters. Start with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards on the hunt. Continue exploring different areas of the park, encountering herds of wildebeest, zebras, and buffalo, along with elephants and countless bird species. Stop for a picnic lunch in the bush before resuming your safari. As the sun sets over the plains, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive in the Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters to the crater floor for a game drive in one of the world’s most unique ecosystems. Here you can see elephants, hippos, zebras, buffalo, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the evening where your safari concludes.
