Day 1

Your safari begins with pickup from AIM Mall in Arusha Town before heading to Mkomazi National Park, a remote and rarely visited gem bordering Kenya’s Tsavo West. The park is renowned for its black rhino sanctuary and one of the few places in Tanzania to see endangered African wild dogs. Alongside these rare species, Mkomazi is also home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryx, kudu, and over 450 bird species. Set against the backdrop of the Pare and Usambara Mountains, the landscapes are breathtakingly diverse. Guests travel in a private 4x4 safari vehicle with a professional guide who shares expert insights into the park’s wildlife and conservation efforts. Your safari includes all park entry fees, bottled water, transport, and a freshly prepared hot lunch from our chefs, served in a scenic spot within the park. After a full day of exploration, return to Arusha in the late afternoon. Pickup and drop-off are at AIM Mall; airport transfers can be arranged at extra cost.
