Karibu sana Tanzania! Upon arrival, your guide will pick you up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and drive you into Arusha. This first night allows you to rest after your flight and gives us time to prepare the safari vehicles. Depending on arrival, your guide will provide a briefing; daytime arrivals may have time to explore Arusha, while late arrivals are encouraged to rest before the safari begins.

After breakfast, drive south to Tarangire, a land of giant baobabs and vast elephant herds. The Tarangire River draws wildlife in great numbers, from buffalo and giraffes to predators waiting nearby. Descend into Ngorongoro, a natural amphitheater where over 25,000 animals coexist. Spot elephants in swamps, buffalo and wildebeest in meadows, and rhinos browsing the plains. Lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are often seen here. Picnic lunch is enjoyed beside a hippo pool, with an optional stop at a Maasai boma en route.
