Into the Wild and the Heart of the Migration - The Great Masai Mara

Your private safari guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport for a scenic 4–5 hour drive across the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara. Arrive at your lodge in time to check in and enjoy lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. As you journey onto the plains, you may encounter elephants, lions, and perhaps even your first glimpse of the wildebeest herds stretching across the horizon.

The following two days are fully devoted to exploring the Mara during the height of the migration season. Early morning drives take you to the herds and riverbanks where crocodiles and predators lie in wait, while afternoon drives lead you deeper into the reserve in search of big cats, cheetahs, giraffes, and buffalo. With your lodge set close to the action, you’ll enjoy front-row access to this incredible spectacle, balanced with evenings of comfort, fine meals, and the sounds of the savannah at night.
