After an early breakfast, depart from Karatu for a full-day excursion into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife sanctuary often referred to as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” Marvel at the diversity of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and flamingos in this lush, enclosed ecosystem.
After lunch in the crater, return to your lodge in Karatu.

Enjoy a half-day game drive, then drive out to Arusha Airport for your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
