1-Day Ngorongoro Crater Daytrip

Day Trip: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

05:30 hrs: Early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. Depart in a 4x4 safari vehicle with packed breakfast. Drive through the Great Rift Valley, enjoying beautiful scenery en route to Ngorongoro.

09:00 hrs: Arrive at Ngorongoro Conservation Area gate, proceed to the rim for stunning panoramic views before descending 600m into the Crater.

09:30–15:00 hrs: Full-day game drive inside the crater. Expect sightings of lions, elephants, buffalos, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, flamingos at Lake Magadi, and possibly the endangered black rhino. Picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot near the hippo pool.

15:00 hrs: Begin ascent back to the crater rim and depart for Arusha.

18:30–19:00 hrs: Arrive in Arusha and transfer back to your hotel.
