After an early breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you for a briefing before you set off towards Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its vast, open landscapes dotted with iconic baobab trees and its large population of elephants. It’s especially lively during the dry season when animals gather around the Tarangire River, the park’s primary water source.

On your game drive, you'll have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife including zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, and predators like lions and leopards. The park is also a bird lover’s paradise, with over 500 bird species recorded. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park, allowing you to dine with views of the wilderness.

In the late afternoon, you’ll exit the park and drive to the nearby town of Karatu. You’ll check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by peaceful farmland and cool mountain air an ideal place to rest before your next adventure.

Ngorongoro to Arusha

After an early morning breakfast, you'll depart for the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most breathtaking wildlife destinations in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on Earth and supports an incredible density of wildlife in a relatively small area.

During your game drive, you can expect to encounter lions, elephants, hippos, zebras and, with a bit of luck, the endangered black rhino. The crater is also one of the few places in Tanzania where it’s possible to spot all members of the Big Five. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch near a hippo pool, soaking in the stunning natural beauty of this unique ecosystem.

In the early afternoon, you’ll ascend from the crater and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 3-day safari.
