During the drive, travelers can see green coffee plantations and catch glimpses of Mount Kenya. Following lunch on arrival, an afternoon game drive familiarizes travelers with Samburu's distinctive wildlife, including the "Samburu Special Five" of the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, and Grevy's Zebra. African wild dogs too live in this dry terrain. Lodging is usually by the reserve.

Embark on your journey to the south, the journey from Samburu involves travelling from the arid northern region down towards the Laikipia Plateau and Mount Kenya area, taking approximately 2.5 to 4 hours by road. On arrival at the conservancy, check in and have lunch. Later, immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty and diverse wildlife of Ol Pejeta Conservancy in an afternoon game drive. This unforgettable adventure offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the conservancy’s vast landscapes and encounter its rich array of wildlife in their natural habitat as well as the largest black rhino population in East Africa, a chimpanzee sanctuary among others.
Later, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Depart Ol pejeta conservancy for Lake Nakuru National Park. Nakuru National Park is known for a thrilling, compact wildlife experience centered around a lake known for flocks of flamingos, endangered rhino sanctuaries, and scenic acacia woodland. Lake Nakuru is known for seeing both black and white rhinoceros, with over 150 individuals in a protected sanctuary, Flamingos and Birdlife that fills the lake shores with thousands of pink flamingos (greater and lesser) and pelicans, creating a "sea of pink"
On arrival, check-in and have lunch. You will then have a late afternoon game drive and later spend your late evening time at leisure.

The fifth day involves a car drive from Lake Nakuru to Kenya's most renowned park, the Maasai Mara National Reserve, that spans approximately 6 hours. The drive is along the Great Rift Valley and the Maasai town of Narok. Arriving in time for lunch, an afternoon game drive in the Maasai Mara offers chances of seeing the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and a rich ecosystem with over 95 species of mammals. The park is particularly renowned for its high density of big cats.

An entire day at Maasai Mara avails itself fully of wildlife spotting. Between July and October during the Great Migration, visitors can potentially witness the magnificent Mara River crossing, where wildebeest and zebras fight against torrential currents and Nile crocodiles. The game drives can extend throughout the day, with the potential of picnic lunches in the park. A sunrise hot air balloon excursion is offered as an optional experience and provides a unique insight into landscape and wildlife. Cultural tours to a Maasai village are also offered as an option.
