This safari has been curated to offer you the best of East Africa’s wildlife, while also ensuring your comfort, safety, and a relaxed pace that allows you to fully enjoy each national park experience.
Your journey begins in Mwanza, a city located on the southern shore of Lake Victoria. After meeting your guide, you will embark on a scenic drive to the Serengeti National Park.
Within 2 hours, you will arrive at the western Ndabaka entrance of the Serengeti. You will start spotting wildlife as soon as you enter! This area is renowned for the Grumeti River, the easiest way to spot some of the biggest Nile Crocodiles in the Serengeti. You will come across resident wildlife, including the resident lion prides and elephant herds - the first sightings of your Big 5.
You will be provided with packed lunch boxes to enjoy under a tree while taking in the views.
As the sun sets, head to your tented camp for a relaxing evening in the heart of the wild.

Day 2
Eastern Serengeti

After a hearty breakfast, you'll set out for a full day of safari adventures in the eastern region. Your expert guide will lead you to prime wildlife-viewing spots, increasing your chances of encountering some of the Big Five and other fascinating wildlife.
The eastern region surrounds you with endless plains, home to cheetahs, and some of the biggest lion prides, offering perfect photography opportunities.
You'll enjoy a picnic lunch within the Serengeti, taking in the breathtaking scenery while keeping an eye out for wildlife. In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for another night in the heart of the wildlife.

Day 3

Today we suggest an early morning safari and then a relaxing time at the lodge after lunch before a very early start the next day!
Start day on a game drive as the sun rises and the wildlife starts to appear to soak in the warmth. We will return to the lodge to enjoy a warm lunch and a dip in the pool as the sun soars. You can use additional paid lodge facilities such as massage sessions etc. We recommend an early night in order to get a very early start for the Ngorongoro crater the next day!

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day early with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot the massive bull elephants, and some of the largest lions in the region. This natural wildlife haven offers the most important tick to the Big 5, the black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous hippo pool, where you can dine surrounded by incredible scenery and watch the hippos wallow nearby.
After lunch you will continue your game drive and ascend the crater walls in the late afternoon. You begin your journey back toward the sunset-drenched Ngorongoro highlands, where you’ll settle in for a peaceful overnight stay in the heart of Karatu Village.

Day 5
Arusha
Arusha
Today is your final day on safari with us, hence we like to end it in a relaxing and reflective style at the lodge. We choose unique lodges for this where you can relax and take a dip in the pool to wind down.
You will enjoy a hot lunch and then depart for Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport for drop off.
Note: You can choose to visit Tarangire / Lake Manyara for a day trip for an additional cost on this day.
