Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will arrive at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 11:00 am, where our safari guide will warmly welcome you with a packed picnic lunch. From here, your adventure begins as you set off on your first game drive across the Serengeti. Around 1:00 pm, you’ll pause to enjoy your lunch in the heart of the wilderness before continuing your exploration in search of the Serengeti’s iconic big cats and grazing herbivores. As the sun begins to set, you will return to your camp, arriving in time for dinner and an overnight stay at the luxurious Serengeti Melia Lodge.

After breakfast at the camp, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. This iconic landscape, defined by its endless grassy plains, holds a beauty that is both raw and mesmerizing. While parts of the park feature seasonally flooded wetlands, forests, and savannah woodlands, it is the sweeping plains that truly capture the spirit of the Serengeti. Here, millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle move together in the world’s greatest migration, thundering across the open plains, braving crocodile-filled rivers, and attracting an array of relentless predators. You will pause midday to enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the wilderness, before continuing your safari into the afternoon. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, you will return to camp to relax by a crackling bushfire before dinner and your overnight stay at the luxurious Serengeti Melia Lodge.

After breakfast, you will set out once again to explore the Serengeti. You may choose between a full-day game drive for maximum wildlife viewing or divide the adventure into two sessions—an early morning and an evening drive. Opting for split sessions allows time to relax at the lodge during the afternoon, while a full-day safari offers the best chance to witness even more of the Serengeti’s incredible wildlife.

Serengeti to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the camp and set off on your final game drive in the Serengeti, taking in the last sights of this extraordinary wilderness. Following the morning’s safari, you will drive to Seronera Airstrip for your mid-morning flight from the Serengeti back to Zanzibar, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
