Morning Game Drive, Nile Cruise & Hike to the Top of the Falls

Start your day with a morning game in Murchison Falls National Park. This is the best time to see large herds of buffalo and elephants, Uganda kob, lions, leopards, and the park’s most famous residents — the endangered Rothschild’s giraffes.
Next, set out on a hike to the top of the world’s most powerful waterfall. Standing at the edge as the Nile crashes through a narrow gorge is an exhilarating experience.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Nile, drifting past hippos basking in the water, crocodiles sunning on the banks, and elephants cooling off by the river. The cruise ends with a dramatic view of Murchison Falls — this time from below, where the power of the water is most striking.

This morning, we will leave Murchison Falls National Park and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital of the world. The forest is home to chimpanzees, baboons, and a variety of monkey species.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and take some time to relax. After, head to the Bigodi Wetlands, located on the eastern edge of Kibale. Enjoy a gentle guided walk through this lush habitat, where you can spot abundant birdlife, butterflies, and several monkey species in their natural environment.

Guided by expert trackers, you’ll follow their calls and movements through the trees until you come face to face with a troop. Watching them interact, play, and forage is a truly unforgettable experience.
After returning from the hike, relax and enjoy lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on your next adventure: a visit to a vanilla farm, a rare and fascinating place in Uganda where this precious spice — often called “black gold” — is cultivated. Learn about the growing and curing process, and even take part by planting your own vanilla vine.

After breakfast, leave Kibale Forest and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife reserves. The scenic drive takes you past beautiful crater lakes and rolling countryside, offering plenty of photo opportunities along the way.
Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, enjoy lunch, and take some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, head out on an evening game drive across the park’s sweeping savannah plains to spot elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and big cats preparing for their nightly hunt.

Begin the day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We will do our best to spot rare tree-climbing lions, as well as leopards, large herds of elephants and buffaloes, and other fascinating mammals including giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas, and waterbucks.
After lunch, set out on a boat safari along the famous Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that links Lake Edward and Lake George. This is one of the best places in Africa to see huge pods of hippos, crocodiles basking on the banks, and elephants and buffaloes gathering at the water’s edge.

Today you’ll transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, an area famous for its tree-climbing lions. On this adventurous drive across vast savannah plains, we will search for lions resting high in the branches of fig trees, while also observing topis, African elephants, and other wildlife along the way.
The journey continues to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where the scenery shifts from open savannah to rolling cultivated hills and finally to jungle-covered mountains.

Start the day with one of the world’s most unique and unforgettable wildlife encounters — mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Home to nearly half of the planet’s remaining mountain gorillas, Bwindi is the ultimate destination for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After a briefing, you will be assigned to a gorilla family group based on your fitness level, then set out with your guides into the dense rainforest. The length of the trek varies depending on where the gorillas are located, but once you find them, you will spend an extraordinary hour observing their behaviors — from playful youngsters to the commanding presence of a silverback.
After enjoying lunch in the forest, continue your journey south to Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll check into your lodge and rest ahead of the next day’s adventures.
