Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast at Octagon Lodge, depart for the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders. Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a full-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to over 25,000 animals. Encounter lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino, as well as flocks of flamingos and other bird species around the soda lakes. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot near the hippo pool while taking in the breathtaking views.
