Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your private safari guide and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most biodiverse savannah reserve. This tranasfer is by road through scenic villages and town of the Pearl of Africa with scenic road transfer through the countryside, passing through tea plantations and rolling hills. Arrive in the park and check in to your luxury lodge overlooking the savannah or the Kazinga Channel. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where lions, elephants, buffalo, and antelope roam freely. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for a gourmet dinner and relaxing evening in the wild.

Start y the day early with a sunrise game drive across the open savannah, tracking herds of elephants, Uganda kob, buffalo, and if lucky, the elusive leopard. Your expert guide will share insights into the ecology and wildlife behavior, enhancing your experience. After returning to the lodge for breakfast or brunch, enjoy some downtime before your afternoon adventure. Later, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, one of Africa’s densest concentrations of hippos and home to crocodiles, elephants bathing on the shores, and an incredible diversity of birdlife. The cruise offers excellent photography and close-up views of wildlife. Return to your lodge for dinner under the stars.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart for the Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famously home to tree-climbing lions, often seen lounging in giant fig trees. Enjoy a game drive through this quiet and remote section, where you’ll also see topi, buffalo, and elephants. Following your game drive and picnic lunch, continue on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Day 4

Rise early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You’ll be assigned a gorilla family and guided into the forest for your gorilla trekking expedition, which may last between 1 to 6 hours depending on the location of the group. Once found, spend a full hour in the presence of these gentle giants observing them as they feed, groom, and interact in their natural habitat. It is an emotionally moving and unforgettable experience. After the trek, return to the lodge for a warm lunch, followed by an optional massage, a walk through the forest trails, or simply relaxing with a view of the misty hills.

Surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with 29 islands, Lake Bunyonyi offers a peaceful contrast to the previous days of adventure. Arrive in time for lunch at your lakeside luxury lodge. Spend your afternoon at leisure, take a canoe ride across the calm waters, visit a local island community, or simply relax and soak in the breathtaking views from your private veranda. This is the perfect place to unwind after the physically demanding trek.

Depending on your preference and schedule, you will embark on a domestic flight from Kisoro or Kihihi airstrip (with transfer from Lake Bunyonyi) Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon for your international flight or to a day room if your flight is later in the evening. This concludes your luxurious journey through Uganda’s wild heart—where you encountered the Big Five, tracked mountain gorillas, and relaxed on one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes.
