Day 1

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly received by your safari driver-guide who will brief you about the adventure ahead. After a short rest, you will set off for Mabamba Swamp, one of Africa’s most famous birding destinations. The highlight here is the rare and prehistoric-looking Shoebill Stork, which you will search for during a canoe excursion through the papyrus wetlands.
The swamp is also home to several other bird species such as the malachite kingfisher, swamp flycatcher, and African jacana. After your wetland exploration, you will return to Entebbe for a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Day 2
Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, you will begin your drive from Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a journey that takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside. Along the way, you will make a memorable stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs and souvenirs before continuing on. Lunch will be served en route.
Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive through the Kasenyi plains, one of the park’s best wildlife areas. Here you may spot lions, elephants, buffalo, and the graceful Uganda kob. As the sun sets, you will head to your lodge near Queen Elizabeth National Park for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

The day begins with an early morning game drive heading southwards to the Ishasha sector, a unique savannah landscape famous for its tree-climbing lions. These lions often rest on the branches of giant fig trees while keeping watch over herds of antelope below. Other possible sightings include elephants, buffalo, topis, and a variety of bird species.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George.
This cruise is one of Uganda’s greatest wildlife experiences, offering close encounters with hippos, Nile crocodiles, and large herds of elephants coming to the water’s edge. Bird species are abundant, including African fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. Depending on time, you may also visit Katwe Salt Lake, where locals practice traditional salt mining. You will then return to your lodge or, if preferred, transfer closer to Bwindi for the next day’s adventure.

Day 4

On this day, wake up early for your breakfast at the lodge, then proceed to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park drive continues through Uganda’s rolling hills, tea plantations, and terraced farmlands before arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas.
Dinner and overnight are at a lodge near Bwindi.

Day 5

Wake up with the early bird, taking a hot coffee with a snack and be at tourism office by 8:00 am for briefing by Ranger guides about general trekking experiences, getting porters to carry your extra luggage and start off your real exciting Mountain gorilla trekking safari.
Ascend steep, rugged, mist covered, thick forested hills and get in the mix with thousands of other primates, birds, mammals, insects and different wildlife species sharing habitat with gorillas and walk in their footprints.
The exciting feeling of challenging the impenetrable forests, meeting up with the gorillas and everything about the jungles is so captivating and your brief duration of life in the jungles will stretch your imagination.
You will spend just one hour with gorillas within which you will have grasped almost everything about the gorillas. After gorilla trekking, transfer Lake Bunyonyi dotted with the 29 beautiful islands, it is one of the most beautiful and deepest lake in Uganda. time: 4-5 hours.

Day 6
Visit Lake Bunyonyi & Transfer to Kampala
Visit Lake Bunyonyi & Transfer to Kampala
Wake up with sun rising, as you get ready to set off for Kampala of which the journey will take you about 6 to 7hrs. Have breakfast in the lawns and seal your mountain gorilla safari with a brief exciting boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. Enjoy the serenity of the lake with cool breezes soothing your skin.
After the awesome experience drive to Kampala with a stopover at the equator and grab a chance of standing in two hemispheres in the same period. You can then take pictures if choose to have memory of the experience and have lunch at this very stop. Determining on your next destination and the time you have on you when you arrive in Kampala you will then head to your hotel for overnight stay or the airport for your scheduled plan back home.
