Dar es Salaam to Uluguru Mountains & Choma Waterfalls

You will be picked up from your hotel or the ferry terminal and taken to the Dar es Salaam train station. From there, enjoy a scenic train ride to Morogoro City. On arrival, your guide will meet you and take you to the Uluguru Mountains. Enjoy a guided hike through green nature trails, local farms, and fresh mountain air with a local guide. Visit Choma Waterfalls, where you can swim and relax. Lunch will be served near the waterfalls. After the hike, drive to your hotel to rest and get ready for the next day.

Early and Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park

After an early breakfast, leave your hotel for an early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, the best time to see animals when they are most active. Watch elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and many kinds of antelopes as the sun rises over the savannah.

After a short break for lunch at Mikumi Cottage inside the park, continue your afternoon game drive to explore more of Mikumi’s wildlife and landscapes. Enjoy the beautiful sunset before returning to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Return Journey by Train to Dar es Salaam

After an early morning breakfast, you will check out and drive from your lodge back toward Morogoro town, enjoying the beautiful views of the countryside along the way. Upon arrival in Morogoro, you will board the SGR train back to Dar es Salaam and relax during the comfortable journey while watching the passing landscapes.

Once you arrive in Dar es Salaam, our driver will meet you at the station and transfer you to your preferred location—either the ferry terminal for the second or last ferry to Zanzibar, the airport, or your hotel. This marks the end of your memorable adventure in Tanzania.
