Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your tour starts with a pick up at 7:30 AM from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and a drive to the Masai Mara. This drive will take about 5 to 6.5 hours with a scenic stopover at the Great Rift Valley. You'll arrive in the Masai Mara shortly after noon and check into your lodge/camp, have a hot lunch, and then depart for an afternoon game drive.
After the game drive, you'll head back to the lodge/camp to reach by around 5:30 or 6:00 PM, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at your lodge.
Note: The last 1-hour drive to Masai Mara is on a corrugated and bumpy road and may not be comfortable for clients with back problems. Clients with back problems can consider flying directly to (and out of) the Masai Mara.

Day 2

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today's schedule.
You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full-day game drives around 9:00 AM with a packed lunch and return to the lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness a hunt/kill). Later, you'll return to the accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit, and depart on an afternoon game drive with a packed lunch. You will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Around 10:00 AM, after a relaxed breakfast, you'll check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, which is about 5 hours drive from the Mara gate. Upon reaching Nakuru lodge, you'll check in, have dinner, and relax for the day.
Note 1: Morning game drives in the Masai Mara can be added on the last morning at the park by paying additional park fees.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli, which is about 7 hours drive. Upon arrival, you'll check into the lodge, have lunch, and start your afternoon safari in Amboseli. You can do game drives till about 6:00 PM before returning to your camp/lodge for a freshly prepared dinner. Your overnight stay will be at your camp/lodge. Note: Depending on your itinerary, starting time in Nakuru, you might also depart with a packed lunch from Nakuru.

After breakfast, you will depart for morning game drives around 7:00 AM and continue till about 10:30 AM. You'll return to camp to relax and have lunch. In the afternoon, around 3:00 PM, you'll proceed on afternoon game drives for 3 hours and return to camp before 6:30 PM.

Note: Since Amboseli is relatively hot, game drives around noon are not usually recommended, but can be arranged if you are interested.

Day 6

You can start the day with an early morning game drive to explore more of Amboseli’s wildlife. The early morning is a great time to see animals and enjoy the beautiful light. Post morning game drives, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast. You'll check out and proceed towards Tsavo East. This drive will take about 3 to 3.5 hours. You'll have a packed lunch en route and arrive in Tsavo East by evening, check into your lodge/camp. You will enjoy your evening and dinner at your lodge or camp. You will relax and unwind after the drive.

Tsavo East to Nairobi

You'll wake up early in the morning and proceed on game drives around 6:15 AM. You'll head out for a final early morning game drive in Tsavo East. The park is known for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. You'll continue with game drives till around 9:00 AM and then head back to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from camp and proceed to Nairobi; this drive will take about 6 to 6.5 hours. You can stop for lunch en route.
