Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari to Masai Mara with a 7.00am to 7.30am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Maasai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. ( Drive time 4.5 hours). You will be in a private 4x4 safari vehicle.

Stop for some time at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the way, to enjoy the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch at Mara Sopa lodge. The afternoon game drive at 3.30pm allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your lodge by 6.30pm. Every eventful day ends in a relaxed manner with an exclusive dinner and the stylish ambience of a night in the Mara Sopa lodge.

Today's itinerary is flexible and you can discuss with your guide on the previous evening and plan for today's schedule.
You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around 9:00 AM with packed lunch and return back to lodge late afternoon around 6:00 PM. Or you can depart at 6:00 AM on an early morning game drive (This is the best time to see the animals and a good chance to witness hunt/kill).
Later return to accommodation for breakfast and relax for a bit and depart on an afternoon game drive with packed lunch.
For the full day option, you will stop at a picnic spot for having packed lunch and later depart on a game drive till the park is closed. Around 6:00 PM return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai mara to Nairobi

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast and check out by 8.30am, we depart for return road transfer back to Nairobi. (as per the latest park rules, all visitors are expected to exit the park before 10am). We have optional Masai village tour available on request. Expected time of arrival in Nairobi is early afternoon (typically by 2.30pm). There will be enroute hot lunches in restaurant. Drop off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
