Rise early in the morning, then depart the Serengeti after breakfast and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater.
Descend into the crater for a half-day Crater tour, where you may encounter rhinos, lions, hippos, flamingos, and more.
After lunch, ascend from the crater and drive back to Karatu.

On your final day of safari in Tanzania’s northern circuit, you’ll rise early in the morning and, after a leisurely breakfast, drive to Arusha Airport for your domestic flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival, transfer to Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site rich in Swahili-Arabic charm.
