Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. This vibrant town, nestled beneath Mount Meru, serves as the perfect gateway to Tanzania’s northern circuit. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, enjoy the gardens, or explore the town’s local markets and coffee shops. A pre-safari briefing will be provided by your guide to prepare you for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem famed for its dense elephant population, ancient baobab trees, and vast open plains. The park’s permanent river draws countless animals, including lions, zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a full-day game drive, with a picnic lunch under the shade of acacia trees. The birdlife here is spectacular, with over 500 species recorded. In the late afternoon, continue to the highlands of Karatu, a lush agricultural region near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After breakfast, begin the scenic drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, crossing the Ngorongoro highlands and descending onto the endless plains that define Africa’s most iconic landscape. Along the way, stop at viewpoints for breathtaking panoramas and possibly visit a Maasai village to learn about their traditional way of life. Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy game viewing en route to your camp. The park teems with wildlife — lions lounging in the sun, cheetahs scanning the horizon, and herds of wildebeest and zebras stretching as far as the eye can see.
