0800 Pick from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Situated some 190 km, west of Arusha between Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks and covers an area of over 8,000 sq. km. The Ngorongoro Crater at 2,286 meters above sea level is the highest unbroken crater in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters above the crater floor, this natural amphitheatre covers an area of about 260 sq. km and is home to unto 30,000 animals, almost half of them zebras and wildebeests. Such vast numbers attract predators a plenty, mainly lion and hyena but also cheetah and leopard. The Ngorongoro has been declared a World Heritage Site and is regarded as the eighth wonders of the world. Descend the steep walls into the UNESCO world heritage site of Ngorongoro Crater floor for (5 hours) game viewing drive. In the afternoon you will ascend the Crater Floor and drive back to Arusha. Dropp off at your hotel in Arusha.
