After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch packed for your journey. The Mara is famed for its black-maned lions and an impressive concentration of resident wildlife. It’s one of the few places in Africa where you might spot all members of the Big Five during a single morning outing.
Some cheetahs in the reserve are known for their comfort around vehicles, sometimes even using them for shade or vantage points. Bird lovers will be in paradise—nearly 500 species have been recorded here, including 16 types of eagles, several species of vultures, bustards, and the massive Kori bustard—the heaviest flying bird on earth. Enjoy some complementary cultural time with the Masai Community during the hot afternoon hours which has deep connection with the ecosystem.

Start early and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, globally renowned for its flocks of flamingos that paint the lakeshore pink. A designated rhino sanctuary, the park is home to over 40 black rhinos and more than 60 white rhinos. Though the flamingos remain the primary attraction, the lake's biodiversity is astounding. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s unique ecology and wildlife.

After breakfast, set off for Amboseli National Park, located south of Nairobi near the Tanzania border. Check into your lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famed for its dramatic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants. The landscape features ancient dry lake beds, open plains, and verdant swamps fed by underground water sources from Kilimanjaro’s melting snows. You’ll find acacia woodlands and palm-dotted oases, making it a unique safari setting. As the sun sets relish back to your lodge for a peaceful overnight stay and yummy dinner.

Begin your day with a morning game drive through the Amboseli plains, soaking in the last sights of Africa’s incredible wildlife. After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Arrival is expected around 4 PM.
