2-Day Luxury Mikumi Safari & Choma Waterfalls by Sgr

From Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up from Dar es Salaam Airport, ferry terminal, or your hotel and transfer to the train station for your journey to Morogoro. Upon arrival in Morogoro you will be met by our representative who will provide a short briefing about the safari program. After the briefing, you will continue by road from Morogoro to Mikumi National Park (approximately 1.5–2 hours drive).

Upon arrival in the park you will begin your game drive exploring Mikumi natinal park and searching for wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and predators including lions, leopards, and hyenas. The game drive continues until the evening, giving you time to fully enjoy the park. After lunch, you will have some time to relax before setting out on an afternoon-to-evening game drive, offering another opportunity to spot wildlife and enjoy the stunning African sunset.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mikumi Bandas inside Mikumi National Park or at Camp Bastian depending on availability.

Uluguru Mountains Trekking – Choma Waterfalls – Return to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast at 7:00 am, you will be transferred to Morogoro town, where the hike begins. You will start a 2.5-hour trek to Morningside, enjoying scenic views along the way. From Morningside, continue with a 1-hour walk to Choma Waterfalls.

At the waterfall, you will have time to relax and swim in the cool, refreshing water. A packed lunch or traditional African meal will be served at the site.

After swimming and relaxing, you will begin the hike back to meet your driver and then return to Dar es Salaam.
