Arusha- Tarangire National Park
In the morning, you will be picked up from your lodgings in Arusha by our personal safari guide. We'll set out for Tarangire National Park across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As we zip along, we'll pass many Maasais in their colourful dresses walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkey carts. Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other creatures. From the open roof of our safari jeep, we'll experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and life-giving Tarangire River endeavouring to encounter a multitude of creatures from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name but a few. It is possible we will glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing in the trees above.
After our extensive game drive, we'll drive to one of our luxurious lodges for dinner in a tasteful restaurant and a most capacious room to harbour our ease and dreams of wild cats!

If you haven't fallen in love with Tanzania by the time you reach the Serengeti, then this is the place that will make it happen. This UNESCO World Heritage listed park is simply extraordinary, with its savannah grasslands that seem like they go on forever, and with more animals than you ever thought possible. Big lion prides stalk the riverbanks. Solitary leopards watch the world go by from the fork of a tree. Cheetahs streak across the plains in pursuit of a gazelle. You will probably also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes and spotted hyenas while you're here, not to mention so many other animals.

Watch as, from above, morning mist rolls up and over the crater rim, and notice how the steep walls suggest a place unlike any other. Down below on the crater floor, explore a lost world preserved in a state of pristine isolation, one that shelters lions and hyenas, elephants and black rhinos, flamingos and golden jackals. Day 7
Karatu- Lake Manyara National Park
Karatu- Lake Manyara National Park
Your next safari stop is Lake Manyara, a fantastic and relatively compact park. There is so much to look forward to here. To start with, there's the dramatic scenery of cliffs, forest and lake all in a relatively small area. You're also in for a treat when it comes to wildlife. Lake Manyara is famous for its elephants that roam the forests, its gregarious troops of olive baboons, and its lions which, unusually, climb trees. It's a unique combination that offers something a little different to the other parks in Tanzania's north.
After your game drive, you will be dropped off at a place of your choosing such as Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport. We hope you have enjoyed your adventure with Lion King!
