After being picked up from the Arusha airport or hotel, travel for approximately two hours to Lake Manyara National Park, which is well-known for its verdant surroundings, diverse birdlife, tree-climbing lions, hippos, and baboons. Overlooking Lake Manyara, dinner and the night will be spent atop the Great Rift Valley. Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and the night.

As you drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you’ll witness breathtaking highland vistas and Maasai herders grazing cattle along the slopes. Stop briefly at the Ngorongoro Viewpoint for photos and a short briefing before beginning your descent into the crater.
Once inside the crater, embark on a thrilling game drive across open grasslands, swamps, and acacia forests. Watch out for prides of lions, grazing zebras, wildebeests, and playful hippos wallowing in pools. Your guide will share fascinating insights into the ecosystem, animal behaviors, and conservation efforts.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the designated site by the hippo pool after drive back to Arusha or drop off at the airport.
