After landing and finalising the immigration formalities, you will find our professional tour driver waiting for you at the airport's waiting area. Change money on the way; local currency is recommended. He will warmly welcome you to Uganda. He will transfer you to your booked lodge nearby. On arrival before check-in. You will be briefed about your safari. After your briefing, check in and relax after a long journey.
If your arrival time is early during the day, you may choose optional activities, you may choose to visit the botanical garden, or head out to Mabamba Wetlands for your shoebill experience. This can be arranged upon communication with the office.

Day 2
Transfer to murchison falls nation park, with rhino trekking stop over at ziwa rhino sanctuary

Your tour officially begins. You will set off for a long day, driving northwards to Nakasongola Nyakitoma, where you will do your rhino tracking stopover for the rhino tracking experience. This experience is done on foot, and this is the only place you can see rhinos in Uganda. You will learn about the success of this rhino reintroduction in Uganda. Later, after this breathtaking encounter, you will have lunch, later proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. After entering, you will proceed to visit the top of Muchison Falls viewing point, where the nile squeezes through a 7meter gorge, and falls 45m deep, producing a thunderous roar, on a sunny evening you will have a chance to witness a rainbow, and a shower, after which you will proceed to your booked accommodation, you will arrive later in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and journey south through scenic countryside to Kibale Forest National Park, the primate capital of the world. The drive unfolds through tea plantations, rolling hills, and vibrant villages, offering glimpses of authentic Ugandan life. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your lodge surrounded by lush tropical forest. In the evening, venture out with a local site guide to explore Bigodi Swamp, a community-run wetland teeming with birdlife, monkeys, and rich vegetation. Wander along wooden walkways as the forest hums with life, spotting colourful species like the great blue turaco and black-and-white colobus monkeys. Beyond the wildlife, engage with the Bigodi community to learn about their sustainable projects, crafts, banana and coffee experience, and traditions that coexist with nature. After an early breakfast, depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and journey south toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, traversing the remote and untamed Ishasha sector. This stretch of savannah is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions—an extraordinary sight found in only a few places in Africa. Keep your camera ready as you scan the giant fig trees, where lions often lounge gracefully on the branches, surveying the plains dotted with topis and buffaloes below. The drive is an adventure in itself, offering stunning views of the Rift Valley and Uganda’s rural heartland. Awake to the cool mountain mist and the sounds of the rainforest as you prepare for one of Africa’s most profound encounters. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After breakfast, head to the park offices for a briefing by park rangers, after which you venture into the dense forest, following ancient trails beneath towering trees and tangled vines. The trek can be challenging, but every step heightens the anticipation. When you finally meet a gorilla family, time seems to stand still. Stay with them for 1 hour, watch the gentle giants feed, play, and interact in their natural world, their soulful eyes reflecting an intelligence both wild and familiar.
After this life-changing experience, return to your lodge. (optional) In the afternoon, you may opt to visit the Batwa community, the indigenous forest dwellers of Bwindi. Guided by Batwa elders, learn about their traditional hunting skills, medicinal plants, songs, and stories that once defined life within the forest.

Arrive at Lake Mburo in the afternoon and settle into your lodge overlooking the tranquil lake.
As evening approaches, embark on a game drive through the park’s mosaic of grasslands and wetlands. Lake Mburo is a haven for graceful impalas, zebras, topis, elands, and giraffes that roam freely across the plains. Keep watch for leopards beginning to stir as the sun dips low over the acacia-dotted landscape. Birds call from the reeds and hippos stir in the water, adding to the symphony of the wild. The evening safari offers a serene yet thrilling glimpse into Uganda’s smallest savannah park, intimate, unspoiled, and alive with quiet beauty. Return to your lodge at 7 pm for dinner and overnight.

Start the day with a morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. Guided by expert rangers, stroll through rolling through the rolling grassland, spotting zebras, impalas, and elusive elands up close, while listening to the calls of birds and the rustle of the reeds. The intimate pace of the walk allows you to feel the heartbeat of the savannah and appreciate the small wonders often missed while in the vehicle.
After the safari, depart for Kayabwe Equator point. Pause for lunch at a local spot. Explore the souvenir shops for handcrafted mementoes and local souvenirs. Continue the journey back to Entebbe, on an unforgettable circuit of Uganda’s wildlife, culture, and landscapes. Drop off at Entebbe International Airport.
