1-Day Explore Tarangire – Land of Elephants & Baobabs

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi after breakfast. Enjoy a scenic 2–3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park, passing through lively Maasai villages and the vast open plains that showcase the true beauty of Tanzania’s wilderness.

Upon arrival, begin your thrilling game drive across Tarangire diverse landscapes home to large elephant herds, majestic giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and many more species. Around midday, you’ll stop for a packed lunch at a picturesque picnic site near the Tarangire River, surrounded by wildlife and stunning views.

After lunch, continue your safari through the park’s famous baobab trees and open savannas, where you might spot lions, leopards, or other predators. Later in the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Arusha or Moshi, or be transferred directly to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable 1-day Tarangire National Park safari.
