Full day Amboseli National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive, which is normally the best time to spot predators and view Mount Kilimanjaro in all its glory before clouds veil its summit. Waters of Mount Kilimanjaro drain under lava flows and emerge in Amboseli and form green lush swamps amidst the scenically dusty plains, which attract various animals. Observation Hill is open to a visit for panoramic sightseeing of the park and its swamps. You have ample opportunities during the day to get close views of elephants, along with other animals like lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Masai giraffes, zebra, baboon, and waterbuck. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Nyati safari camp Amboseli.

Departure

After breakfast, guests depart the reserve. For those driving back to Nairobi, a stop in the town of Narok allows for the purchase of local handicrafts. Fly-in guests are transferred to the local airstrip for their return flight to Wilson Airport, typically arriving in Nairobi by mid-afternoon for international connections.
