3-Day Murchison Falls NP Safari and Chimpanzee Tracking

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Driving time 5hrs.
At 8:00 am, after breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and driven to Murchison Falls National Park.
En route, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You'll have lunch at Ziwa.
Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home of the only white rhinos in Uganda. Located in Nakasongola district, not only can you find rhinos, but a wide variety of bird species and other wildlife. The wildlife ranch has become a popular destination for tourists looking for adventure. Activities include rhino trekking, birding tours, nature hikes, night-time nature walks, and a shoebill trek & canoe ride. On this trip, you will only visit the rhinos.
Later, you will drive to the park. You will visit the top of the falls.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Game Drive and Launch Cruise

On this day, you'll wake up early and have breakfast at 6:30 am, or earlier, before breakfast. The guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your game drive. During the drive, you will be in a position to see many animals such as lions, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, and birds, among others.

After the game drive at around 11:40 am, you will drive back to the lodge or stay within the premises, as advised by the guide. Relax/freshen up and have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat, you will be able to see various Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, along the banks of the Nile, as well as different beautiful birds, some singing in the trees, such as the bee eaters, the colored kingfishers, the shoebill stork, and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the Murchison Falls. When you reach here, you will be able to see the mighty waterfalls clearly. You will return to the lodge for dinner.

Chimpanzee Tracking - Drive to Kampala

Early morning at 6:30 am, you will drive to Kaniyo Pabidi for Chimpanzee tracking. You have breakfast on arrival and are briefed on the dos and don'ts during the tracking. You will set off in search of the primates. Once you get to them, you will spend an hour taking pictures and observing. Later, you drive to Kampala. Lunch will be en route. You'll be dropped off at the hotel or airport.
