Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha – Tarangire National Park Game Drive

Arusha to Tarangire National Park: 2 Hours.

Program of the Day: Your day begins at 5:30 am with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for an 8:00 am flight to Arusha, arriving at 9:15 am. From there, your guide will drive you 1.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha and the Maasai culture along the way.

Tarangire National Park: Enjoy a full-day game drive through Tarangire, famous for its vast elephant herds, diverse landscapes, and predators like lions and leopards. A packed lunch will be served inside the park.
The game drive ends around 4:00 pm, after which you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Flight back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast at 6:00 AM, you will depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable early morning game drive. The early start offers the best opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views and observe wildlife during their most active hours.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera. It is home to over 30,000 animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and the endangered black rhino, along with a rich variety of birdlife such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards.

After your game drive, you will return to Arusha, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, you will transfer to the airport for your flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar, marking the perfect end to your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure.
