Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your safari guide. After an early breakfast, begin your scenic journey to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive passes green farmland and small villages until you reach Materuni, a picturesque Chagga village surrounded by banana and coffee farms. Accompanied by a local guide, hike through the lush vegetation toward the magnificent Materuni Waterfall. The sound of cascading water and cool mountain air make this one of the region’s most refreshing natural sites.

Afterward, visit a traditional coffee plantation to learn every stage of the coffee process — from picking and roasting to grinding and brewing. You’ll prepare your own cup of aromatic Arabica coffee, accompanied by cheerful local songs and laughter.

Tarangire National Park-Land of Giants

After breakfast, drive across the Maasai Steppe into Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most striking wildlife regions. The park is famous for its massive baobab trees and large elephant herds that roam along the Tarangire River.
Spend the day exploring the park on game drives- elephants dusting themselves in red soil, lions resting beneath acacias, and hundreds of zebras and wildebeests gathering near waterholes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot and continue your exploration through the varied landscapes of woodland and open savanna. In the evening, watch the golden sunset across the valley before heading to your accommodation near the park.

Today’s drive takes you through the dramatic highlands and into the vast Serengeti ecosystem. The route offers breathtaking views, from cultivated slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands to the wide, endless plains. Arrive in the Northern Serengeti, a region famous for the annual Great Migration and the dramatic Mara River crossings (seasonal).

In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through rolling hills and open plains, scanning for giraffes, topis, elephants, and predators following the migrating herds. As the sun sets, the sky blazes orange and purple over the savanna — a true African spectacle.

At dawn, set out for an early game drive when the big cats are most active. Central Serengeti’s Seronera Valley is renowned for its dense predator population and excellent year-round wildlife viewing.

Spend the day exploring different habitats -acacia woodlands, river valleys, and grassy plains. Lions are often seen resting on kopjes (rocky outcrops), while leopards may be spotted lounging in the trees. Cheetahs patrol the open plains in search of gazelles.

Break for a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue your exploration until sunset when the landscape glows in golden light.

Morning drive (≈ 3½ hrs) to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Spend the entire day on game drives across the crater floor a sanctuary for more than 25,000 animals. You may see elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos and an abundance of birdlife. The crater also offers one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino in Tanzania.
