About Tarangire National Park: Named after the Tarangire River, the ‘river of warthogs,’ it serves as a critical water source in the dry season. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, giraffes roaming gracefully, bushbucks in the thickets, and grazing hartebeests. Predators such as lions and leopards are also present, adding excitement to your safari adventure.

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater: 40 Minutes
Program of the Day: After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife.
This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.
After the game drive, you will be transferred to your lodge for some well - deserved relaxation, followed by a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
