Nairobi - Maasai village

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, either by road or a short domestic flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you to your lodge or camp, where you’ll check in and enjoy a warm welcome with lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, rather than heading straight into the wild, you’ll take a deep cultural dive with a visit to a traditional Maasai village nearby. This immersive experience allows you to meet local Maasai families, learn about their ancient customs, and witness traditional dances, beadwork, and even how they build their homes (manyattas). You’ll have the opportunity to interact with the community, ask questions, and gain a richer understanding of their symbiotic relationship with nature. After this unique cultural experience, return to your lodge in the early evening. Enjoy dinner under the stars and fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush, ready for a full day of wildlife exploration ahead.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Rise early for coffee or tea before heading out on an extended morning game drive through the iconic Masai Mara. As the sun rises, the bush comes alive, and your guide will lead you across diverse habitats in search of Africa’s "Big Five" and more — including cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless birds. With the drive lasting until around 2:00 PM, there’s ample time to explore deeper into the reserve and witness remarkable wildlife moments. Enjoy a picnic-style breakfast or brunch in the wild before returning to camp to freshen up and check out. You’ll then be transferred to the airstrip or begin your journey back to Nairobi, carrying lasting memories of Maasai culture and the wild beauty of the Mara.
