Day 1

After an early breakfast, your Terenga safaris guide/driver will promptly pick you up to begin your journey to Uganda’s Murchison Falls National Park, home to the world’s most powerful waterfall. Along the way, you’ll stop at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting opportunity to track some of the remaining white rhinos. Following this rewarding encounter, enjoy lunch before continuing to Uganda’s largest national park. Upon arrival, you’ll head straight to the top of the falls, where you will embark on a challenging but exhilarating hike down and back up the falls an adventure that truly awakens your adventurous spirit. After the hike, you will proceed to your lodge for check-in and relaxation.

You’ll start the day with an early breakfast before setting off on a morning game drive. During this exciting excursion, you’ll have the chance to spot a variety of fascinating wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, elands, giraffes, and warthogs, among others. This rewarding wildlife experience can last up to three hours, after which you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and some time to freshen up.
In the afternoon, the highlight awaits the Nile boat cruise. This scenic journey offers incredible opportunities to see Nile crocodiles, hippos, and stunning bird species that will leave you in awe. The breathtaking views of the waterfalls will captivate you, making you wish for more time in the park. After the cruise, you’ll return to the lodge to relax and enjoy its amenities.

Day 3
Transfer to Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of the safari lodge and begin your journey to Kibale Forest National Park. The drive takes you through the stunning Albertine Escarpment, offering scenic views of Uganda’s beautiful countryside. You’ll stop for lunch in Hoima before continuing the journey, arriving at Kibale National Park in the evening.

Day 4

After your breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu Visitor Center at 7:00 am for a pre-tracking briefing before entering the jungles of Kibale Forest to search for mankind’s closest relatives. After 2-5 hours of tracking, you will hear them hooting or see them feeding, playing and grooming and that’s when your cameras start rolling. Besides the chimpanzees, expect to see several primate species including the red-tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and olive baboons among others as well as birds, butterflies, and tree species of interest.
You will then return to the lodge for lunch and shortly check out before starting your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the afternoon. Meanwhile, you will be able to view the glamorous ranges of the mountains of the moon. Furthermore, you'll pass through Kaseese town and enjoy the smiles from the residents of the town.

Day 5

You’ll begin the day with an early breakfast before setting out on a game drive across the Kasenyi Plains. This area offers excellent opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife, including the elusive leopards, iconic tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, Defassa waterbucks, and warthogs. The plains are also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 200 bird species recorded. After this thrilling 2–3 hour game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax before your next adventure.
In the afternoon, you'll embark on the renowned boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This scenic waterway is teeming with wildlife—expect close-up views of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. Birdlife is equally impressive, with frequent sightings of kingfishers, African fish eagles, and occasionally the rare shoebill stork.

After a relaxed breakfast, you’ll check out of the lodge and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda’s renowned stronghold for mountain gorillas. Your scenic drive takes you through the sweeping savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a special route through the Ishasha sector, famous for its iconic tree-climbing lions. Along the way, you may also spot elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. You'll stop for lunch at Savannah Resort Hotel in Kihihi, before continuing on to Bwindi, where you'll arrive in the evening and check in at your lodge.

Given the physically demanding nature of gorilla trekking, you’ll start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing at 7:00 am. At 8:00 am, you’ll venture into the mist-covered jungles of Bwindi to begin your search for the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family.
Once you find them, you’ll spend a magical hour observing the gorillas up close—watching them feed, play, and interact, while capturing unforgettable photos. After this remarkable encounter, you’ll return to the lodge for well-earned relaxation.
If time and energy allow, you may opt to take a cultural walk to a nearby Batwa community, where you'll experience their traditional way of life and enjoy performances of their vibrant music and dance.

After breakfast, you’ll set off for Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside. Along the way, you'll stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre, located in the heart of the "land of milk and honey," where you’ll savor traditional Ugandan dishes renowned for their rich, local flavor.
Following lunch, you'll continue your journey to the park and check in at your lodge.
In the late afternoon, you’ll embark on a sunset boat cruise on Lake Mburo a perfect opportunity to spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a variety of aquatic bird species. Don’t forget to capture the golden hour light and wildlife moments to make your adventure truly unforgettable.

You’ll start your day with a warm cup of coffee or tea before heading out for a morning game drive through the diverse landscapes of Lake Mburo National Park, which include rocky outcrops, acacia woodlands, and gently rolling hills. This drive offers excellent opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, impalas, topis, elands, waterbucks, bushbucks, and numerous bird species that inhabit the park.
After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge to freshen up and check out, before beginning your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, marking the end of your safari adventure.
