Zanzibar – Tarangire National Park

Your journey starts early with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar, depending on the distance for your transfer to the airport. Take a morning flight to Arusha, where you’ll meet your driver-guide and join your group for a briefing before heading to Tarangire National Park.

The park is famous for its ancient baobab trees, vast elephant herds, and diverse wildlife drawn to the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and colourful birdlife across the golden savannahs. Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before continuing your afternoon exploration.

Later, drive to a public campsite in the Karatu or Mto wa Mbu area, where your tents will be set up, dinner will be prepared by your camp cook, and you’ll spend the night under a blanket of stars.
