Day 1

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Zanzibar (depends on location) and transfer to the airport for your morning flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your safari guide and join other travelers in a 4x4 safari jeep.

The adventure begins as you drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its towering baobab trees, vast herds of elephants, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife roaming across the golden plains.

Around midday, you’ll pause for a picnic lunch in a scenic spot before continuing your game drive. Later in the afternoon, travel to Karatu, where you’ll check in to a comfortable lodge for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the tranquil highlands.

After breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, a small yet diverse gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant populations, and thousands of flamingos decorating its shallow alkaline lake.

During your morning game drive, spot giraffes, zebras, baboons, and a variety of birdlife. Enjoy your packed lunch amidst the beautiful landscapes before driving back to Arusha for your evening flight to Zanzibar.
