Transfer to Murchison falls via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Your safari adventure begins early in the morning with pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. After a short briefing from your guide, you'll set off on a scenic drive through Uganda's countryside towards Murchison Falls National Park, located in the northwestern region of the country. En route, you'll enjoy a memorable stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can track wild rhinos on foot. Accompanied by a trained ranger, you'll get up close to these majestic giants in their natural habitat, an unforgettable wildlife encounter. After rhino tracking and a short lunch break, you’ll continue the journey to Murchison Falls, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Dinner will be served at the lodge as you prepare for an exciting day ahead in the heart of the park.

Morning Game drive and Boat cruise

Rise early for a sunrise game drive across the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, where the savannah comes alive with wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, and possibly the elusive leopard. The early morning hours offer the best chances to see predators as they hunt or lounge before the heat sets in. In the afternoon, embark on a breathtaking boat cruise along the Nile River towards the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. Along the way, spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous bird species including the iconic African fish eagle. The cruise offers fantastic photo opportunities and a close-up view of the powerful falls. After the boat safari, you may opt for an evening game drive to catch more wildlife activity before sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
