Day 1

Embark on a full-day adventure at Materuni Village, nestled on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, with pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Enjoy a scenic drive through vibrant coffee and banana plantations, soaking in views of the Chagga countryside along the way. Upon arrival and finish the registration at the local village office, take a guided village walk, learning about the rich traditions and daily life of the Chagga people.

Hike through tropical forests to the spectacular 90-meter Materuni Waterfall, where the sparkling pool invites a refreshing dip. Then, experience a hands-on coffee-making session, learning to pick, roast, grind, and brew coffee the traditional Chagga way. Enjoy a delicious traditional local lunch prepared by the villagers before returning in the afternoon to Moshi or Kilimanjaro Airport, completing a day full of culture, adventure, and natural beauty.
