After a short introduction and briefing, you will be driven to your accommodations in Arusha for relaxation and an overnight stay as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2

Depart after breakfast and drive straight to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire National Park covers an undulating area of 2,600 km² between the Maasai Steppe to the southeast and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the northwest. It is renowned for its massive elephant herds, iconic baobab and acacia trees, and the Tarangire River, which is the main water source in the park during the dry season. More than 500 migrating bird species can be found here.

After an early morning breakfast in the Central Serengeti, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Tanzania. Formed from a collapsed volcano, it is home to an incredible variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, and flamingos, all thriving within its lush, enclosed ecosystem. Often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden,” the crater offers some of the most scenic and rewarding safari experiences.

Enjoy breakfast at your accommodations in Karatu, then set off for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. The park is popular for its tree-climbing lions and diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, and baboons. It is also home to over 500 bird species, including eagles, kingfishers, and pelicans. The groundwater forest shelters blue monkeys and baboons. In the afternoon, you will depart for Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
