Dar es Salaam to Mikumi NP - via Morogoro by Electric Train

Our driver will pick you from your hotel at 0530am and drive you to the SGR station for your train to the Morogoro region, which depart at 0600am and arrives in Morogoro at 0750am. Upon arrival, you will meet our driver-guide will drive you to the restaurant for breakfast then you will drive to Mikumi National Park for game drive until lunch time. After lunch you will have a short rest then you will go out again for game drive until sunset.

Mikumi NP to Ruaha NP for Afternoon Game Drive

You'll wake up for an early morning game drive until 8:00am then drive back to the cottage for breakfast. After breakfast, you'll start the journey to Ruaha National Park with a stopover in Iringa Town for a hot lunch.

You'll arrive for afternoon game drives until sunset in the park looking for hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, reedbucks, and buffalos venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of lions, leopards, hyenas, wild dogs, and jackals. There are many birds in the park including Eurasia migrants that come to visit the park twice a year.
Late afternoon, you will drive to the Banda for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day Game drive in Ruaha National Park

You will wake up for an early morning game drive which will take about two hours then drive back to the cottage for breakfast. After breakfast, you will proceed with a full-day game drive to explore the beauty of the park, which is full of rocky, kopjes, and ancient baobab trees. Late evening, you will drive back to the bandas for dinner and an overnight stay.

A fine network of game-viewing roads follows the Great Ruaha River and its seasonal tributaries, where during the dry season impalas, waterbucks and other antelopes risk their life for a sip of life-sustaining water. The risk is considerable not only from the pride of the 10-plus lions that lord over the savannah but also from the cheetahs that stalk the open grassland.

Today you will have another full day game drive in Ruaha NP you will have option of starting with early morning game drive followed by game drive after breakfast until lunch time, After lunch you will proceed with game drive en-route on the way to exit gate around 0400pm.

Today you will shift to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge, midrange accommodation located outside the park with beautifully view from the hill.

Ruaha NP to Morogoro for electric train to Dar es Salaam

Today you will have early breakfast at 0630am. At 0700am you will drive to Morogoro town to catch a train to Dar es Salaam which depart at 0400pm and arrive around 05:50pm.

On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will meet our driver who will transfer you to your hotel or airport for night flight.
