Day 2

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your scenic flight to Ndutu (flight time depends on your schedule). Upon arrival, your adventure begins with an exciting game drive across the Ndutu region, nestled between the southern Serengeti and northern Ngorongoro. This area comes alive during the calving season, as vast herds of wildebeest and zebra gather to graze on the lush short-grass plains. Your experienced driver-guide will use keen eyes and expert knowledge to spot a variety of wildlife—including elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and cheetahs—making for an unforgettable introduction to Tanzania’s wild beauty. Later, drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring the heart of the migration area. This is where nature’s greatest spectacle unfolds — the calving season. Thousands of wildebeest and zebras gather on the lush short-grass plains of Southern Serengeti and northern Ngorongoro to give birth, attracting a host of predators. Your experienced driver-guide will use his sharp eyes and deep knowledge of the land to help you spot elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, and many other fascinating species in this breathtaking wilderness.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Ndutu before departing north toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, take in the changing landscapes as you leave the open Serengeti plains and ascend into the lush crater highlands, spotting wildlife en route. Arrive in time to relax and enjoy the evening at your lodge perched near the crater rim, surrounded by breathtaking views.

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Home to around 20,000 mammals, including the rare black rhinoceros, the crater offers one of the best wildlife viewing experiences in Africa. Its diverse ecosystem supports an incredible variety of species—lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals are frequently spotted, while leopards, servals, and bat-eared foxes may reveal themselves to the keen-eyed traveler. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to the airport in time for your onward flight.
