Day 1

After breakfast in Arusha, your driver-guide will meet you for a briefing about your upcoming adventure. You will then depart for Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Arusha. Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, famous for its vast elephant herds, baobab-dotted landscape, and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and wildebeests.

Lunch will be served inside the park at a scenic picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River. In the afternoon, continue exploring the park, following the river where animals congregate for water.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you’ll stop at a panoramic viewpoint over the Ngorongoro Crater before descending into the endless plains of the Serengeti.

Upon entering Serengeti, enjoy a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive en route to your accommodation. The Serengeti is renowned worldwide for its incredible ecosystem, which hosts the Great Wildebeest Migration and supports large populations of predators, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. As the sun sets, watch the golden savannahs glow before returning to your lodge or public campsite for dinner.

Rise early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti to witness predators on the hunt and the awakening of the plains. After breakfast, continue your exploration of the park before beginning your journey back towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

In the afternoon, arrive at your lodge situated on the crater rim with stunning views of the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Relax and enjoy the peaceful highland atmosphere, preparing for the next day’s crater descent.

Day 4

Ngorongoro crater

Ngorongoro crater

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater offers one of the best wildlife-viewing opportunities in Africa, with the chance to see the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the rare black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 5

Daytrip to Mt Kilimanjaro

Daytrip to Mt Kilimanjaro

Depart early in the morning from Arusha or Moshi to Marangu Gate (1,860 m), the starting point of the Marangu Route, also known as the Coca-Cola Route. After registration and a briefing by the park ranger, begin your hike through lush tropical rainforest rich in flora and fauna, including blue monkeys and colobus monkeys.

The trail gradually ascends to Mandara Hut (2,700 m), where you’ll enjoy lunch and explore the nearby Maundi Crater for breathtaking views of northern Tanzania and, on clear days, Kenya’s Amboseli plains.

After resting, descend back through the forest to Marangu Gate, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
