Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or residence in Nairobi and an introduction to our team early morning at 0600hrs these will allow you reach Masai Mara early around 10:30am to maximize on the guided game drive. You’ll be transferred to the Masai Mara National Reserve by road, which takes around 4-5hours. Your professional driver-guide will take you on your first game drive, exploring the vast plains in search of the Mara’s famous wildlife and diverse birdlife. Around midday, you’ll head to your camp or lodge for check-in and lunch.

In the afternoon, set out for a thrilling game drive at 3:00 p.m., continuing until sunset. As dusk settles, return to your lodge or camp to enjoy dinner, a cozy bonfire, and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

After a relaxed breakfast at your lodge or camp, your dedicated driver-guide will assist with the checkout process before beginning the journey to Nairobi. You will get to have morning game drive to have last moments in Masai Mara. Guests who wish to visit a Maasai cultural village its at additional of USD 30 per person.
Along the way, your guide will point out Mt Longonot, an extinct volcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Believed to have last erupted in the 1860s, its name comes from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges.”

You may choose Naivasha for lunch or optional excursions at an additional cost, or proceed directly to Nairobi. Alternatively, you can stop at Kiambethu Farm for a tea farm tour, which includes a three-course buffet lunch (also at an extra cost). Afterward, continue to Nairobi and, if scheduled, enjoy a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for onward journey home.
