After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your journey to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular safari destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Descend 600 meters into the crater for a full-day game drive, exploring the diverse habitats teeming with wildlife. Spot the Big Five — lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and the rare black rhino, along with zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, hippos, and countless bird species.

Enjoy your picnic lunch at a scenic spot near the hippo pool while surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.

In the afternoon, continue your game drive across the crater floor before ascending to the rim and heading to Karatu for the evening.

After an early breakfast, drive to Lake Eyasi, a stunning and culturally rich region set against the Rift Valley escarpment.

Upon arrival, you’ll meet the Hadzabe bushmen, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes. Join them for a traditional hunting and bushwalk experience, observing their ancient skills in tracking, archery, and foraging.

Later, visit the Datoga tribe, skilled traditional blacksmiths who craft tools, weapons, and jewelry from recycled metals. Experience their unique way of life and warm hospitality.

After the cultural interactions, enjoy a short walk along the lake shore, where you might spot flamingos and local fishermen. Enjoy lunch before starting your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
