2-Day Pilgrimage for Our Lady of Kibeho Solemnity

Friday, Nov 27, 2026, Vigil Mass of the Solemnity of the Solemnity of Our Lady of Kibeho

At 7 a.m., your professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel or the airport. He'll be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign marked "Attractive Safaris". After welcoming you and explaining the program of your pilgrimage, he will take you directly to Kibeho.

After lunch, subject to confirmation, you'll meet and chat with the shrine's rector or visionary (Nathalie Mukamazimpaka).

Then get ready to take part in the solemn vigil on the occasion of the Solemnity of the Virgin Mary in Kibeho.

4.30pm: Vigil mass at the apparition site in Kibeho.

6:00 pm: Torchlight procession with the statue of Our Lady of Kibeho.

8:00 pm: Conference - Sacrament of reconciliation - Rosary - Marian prayer vigil.

Return to the hotel for dinner (9:00 pm).

Feast of the 45th anniversary of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary at Kibeho

After breakfast, exploration and prayers in different places of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary in Kibeho (place of the apparitions, the chapel of the apparitions, the Chapel of Adoration, the Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows).

9:00 a.m: Sacrament of Reconciliation

10:00 a.m: Rosary of the Seven Sorrows

11:00 a.m: Solemn Mass on the esplanade of the Shrine

After Mass, lunch at your accommodation

After lunch, visit CANA: Marian Formation Center of the Marian Fathers in Kibeho-Nyarushishi, 2 km from Kibeho Sanctuary, and pray while contemplating the statue of Divine Mercy. Since 2004, a giant bronze statue of the Merciful Jesus, weighing 2 tons and measuring 16 feet high, has been located in Nyarushishi at the Marian Formation Center of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. This statue has a wonderful story to discover. Since then, a visit to Nyarushishi has become a must for pilgrims coming to Kibeho.

Then, head back to Kigali.
