After breakfast in Serengeti, your journey continues with a scenic drive from the Serengeti plains toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. As you leave the open savannah behind, the landscape gradually transforms endless grasslands give way to rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and Maasai villages dotting the countryside.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy en-route game viewing, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps a pride of lions resting beneath the shade. You may stop at a few lookout points or even the famous Olduvai Gorge (optional visit) known as the Cradle of Mankind.
By end of the day you’ll arrive at Karibu Camp Ngorongoro, perched high along the crater rim with sweeping views of this World Heritage Site. After check-in, relax on the terrace or enjoy a warm drink by the campfire as the sun sets over the crater a perfect ending to another spectacular day on safari.
